PECAN PIE

4 EGGS
1 C. SUGAR
1/8 t. SALT
1 1/2 C. DARK KARO SYRUP
2 T. PLUS 1 T. MELTED BUTTER-COOLED
1 t. vanilla
1 C. PECAN HALVES
1 UNBAKED 9 " PIE CRUST

In a large bowl, beat eggs until blended by not frothy. Add the sugar, salt & corn syrup. Stir butter & vanilla until just blended. Spread pecans in the bottom of the pie shell. Pour in filling.

Place in 350 deg oven and immediately reduc heat to 325 derees. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Refrigerate left overs.

8-10 servings
